At the time Great American Rug Cleaning Company takes possession of my rug(s), I agree to the general condition of the rug as stated and authorize Great American Rug Cleaning Co. to do the work.

1. Furniture Manipulation

GARCC is not liable for broken furniture. We want to be helpful, but we are not professional furniture movers. Please note that our team is unable to move extremely heavy or delicate items off your rug or disassemble furniture. Items we cannot move include:

• Glass tabletops
• Marble or stone tables
• Pianos
• Pool tables

You may require the support of professional movers for these items. We strongly recommend ensuring that all furniture is removed from your rug before your scheduled pick-up or delivery. This will help facilitate a smooth and efficient process.

On your appointment day, we inspect, measure, and take pictures of your rug(s).

• Price based on size, inspection, and options.
• We accept payment at time of pickup.
• We offer a Cash/Check Price and a Card Price.
• We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
• Estimated turnaround time for this type of process is 2-4 weeks.
• You will receive a text message when all work is completed.

2. Turnaround Time

The process can be unpredictable due to a range of factors. This is only an estimated time and can be affected by:

• Level of cleaning needed
• Inclement weather
• Staff wellness
• Holidays
• Volume of orders

A typical turnaround time for this type of cleaning process is 2-4 weeks. If your rug is saturated with pet urine, odor, or excessive pet hair, it may need to be washed more than once to correct. This can add days to the process. Ensuring a thorough cleaning, especially for challenging situations like pet odors, might take extra time, but the results are worth it. Rug repairs will also add time. This work is done by a skilled professional, but a completion date cannot be promised.

3. Pet Treatment

• Pet Odor Removal Treatment is recommended for homes with pets. Standard cleaning does not effectively remove pet odors. 100% pet hair removal is not guaranteed.
• If the customer declines treatment and it is noticeably evident that the rug has been exposed to pet hair, urine, or dander, we will note “Declined Pet Odor Removal Treatment” on the rug conditions report/invoice.

4. Moth Containment

Moth containment (not optional) protects the facility and rug inventory but does not guarantee permanent protection.

5. White Knots

White knots may become more apparent after cleaning; they are part of the cotton foundation of handmade rugs.

6. Storage Fees

• A fee of $35 per month applies for rugs left over 30 days after completion, starting from the notification date.
• GARCC is not responsible for rugs left over 30 days

7. Customer Communication

By proceeding with our services, this is an authorization to contact our customers by phone, text, or email for business discussions.

8. Custom Fit Rug Pads

Once the pad has been cut, it is non-refundable.

9. Tufted Area Rug Disclaimer

I have been notified of what may occur when cleaning my rug, including the possibility of:

• Loose backing
• Shrinkage
• Discoloration
• Latex odor (which can be mistaken for urine odor)

No guarantee of stain removal on any type of rug.
